Trunk Show:  Joan's work encompasses a 30+ year quilting journey.   Let her entertain you with stories of her quilting "misteaks" and how she overcame problems she encountered.  Show includes many of her prize winners and her stories will appeal to quilters from beginner to expert.

How To Eat An Elephant:  Quilting Strategies.  
This is a combination trunk show and "How To Do It" lecture.  Includes at least 30 of Joan's exciting quilts and focuses on a "You Can Do It Too" attitude.

Classes offered:
1.  Turned-edge machine applique using freezer paper, glue stick, and invisible thread.

2.  Celtic applique using celtic press bars.  Can also be used for stained-glass effect.

3.  Machine quilting using your domestic sewing machine.

4.  Broderie Perse applique using specialty fabrics.

5.  Design your own applique patterns using your own imagination or photos.

6.  "Mask" quilt.  Your child will enjoy  this see-through "mask" quilt.
